Shannan is from Youngstown, OH and a graduate of Chaney High School. After a career in banking, she moved into the insurance industry as a State Farm Agent Team Member. Having opened her own agency in January 2015, Shannan has been an advocate Portage County schools and programs to serve underprivileged. Jursa Insurance LLC is a CCMEP employer, giving youth and young adults employment opportunities through ODJFS. Having spent more than five years as a reading mentor in the Elementary schools, Shannan now volunteers in the local High Schools to teach insurance and financial management education.
